1.3 Payment Information

We use Stripe as our payment processor. When you make a purchase:

• We do NOT store your credit card details
• Stripe processes and stores payment information securely
• We receive only transaction confirmations and customer email addresses

1.4 Desktop Application Data

The Rise Budget desktop application stores your financial data locally on your computer:

• All transaction data, budgets, and categories are stored in a local SQLite database
• Your financial data is NOT transmitted to our servers
• We do NOT have access to your personal financial information
• License validation requires an internet connection, but no financial data is shared

1.5 Waitlist Information

When you join our waitlist on the Coming Soon page:

• We collect only your email address
• Your email is stored securely with our email service provider (Resend)
• We use your email solely to notify you when Rise Budget launches
• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send
• Waitlist emails will be deleted within 90 days after launch for non-customers

License and customer information is stored securely on Supabase servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

4.2 Desktop Application

Your budget data is stored locally on your computer at:

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/rise-budget/
• Windows: %APPDATA%/rise-budget/
• Linux: ~/.config/rise-budget/

You are responsible for backing up your local data. We cannot recover lost local data.

4.3 Security Measures

We employ industry-standard security practices including:

• RSA-2048 cryptographic signatures for license validation
• HTTPS encryption for all website communications
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse
• No storage of payment card details
