Rise Budget is a desktop app for tracking your personal or household finances. It runs locally on your computer, so your financial data stays private and under your control.

Rise Budget is built around a local-first design:
- No cloud account is required to use the app
- Your transaction history is never sent to our servers
- You choose if and when to enable optional cloud sync for backups
How it works
Most people get up and running in four steps:
- Create income and expense categories that match how you think about money
- Set monthly budget amounts for each category in the Budget Planner
- Import transactions from your bank as CSV files
- Review reports to see income, spending, and progress against your budget
