Your financial data belongs to you. Rise Budget is built around privacy-first design so your information stays on your device by default.
Local-First Design
Rise Budget stores your data in a local database on your computer.
- No cloud account is required to use the app
- Your transaction history is never sent to our servers
- You choose if and when to enable cloud sync
Encryption
Your local database is protected by your operating system's file encryption. If you use cloud sync, your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by your cloud storage provider.
Your Privacy Choices
You control your data:
- Disable analytics and crash reporting in Settings > Privacy
- Choose whether to enable cloud sync
- Delete your local data at any time from Settings > Data
Account Security
- Keep your computer's operating system up to date
- Use a strong password or biometric login on your device
- Only download Rise Budget from the official website or app store
